About
A small spot for a quiet puzzle.
Jigsaw Puzzle Spot is a free online jigsaw puzzle site. No account, no leaderboard, no clutter — just a carefully chosen image and a board you can return to.
Why this site exists
Online jigsaw puzzles should feel calm. Too often they are buried under pop-ups, autoplay videos or a wall of thumbnails that all look the same. This site takes the opposite approach: a smaller collection, larger images, and a game that gets out of the way once you press play.
The cut is based on a shared-edge model, so neighbouring pieces actually fit together rather than merely sitting side by side. The board uses the same organic shape across every puzzle, which means your eye learns the pieces as you move from one scene to the next.
How the collection is chosen
The collection moves through nature, animals, ocean scenes, cities, food, flowers, birds, space, seasons and trains. Each image is chosen for a clear composition, a useful range of colour and enough detail to make the final pieces interesting. The aim is a collection you can browse without feeling overwhelmed.
Every image has a named photographer, a source link and a license record. You can find the full list on the image credits page.
How progress works
Your game is saved locally in your browser. There is no account and no server copy. That keeps the site simple and private, but it also means progress does not follow you between devices or browsers. On the same device, you can close the tab and return to the puzzle later.
